Whether you come into the Emergency Room with a broken bone or need a routine mammogram, St. Mary’s Hospital of Superior has technologically advanced imaging services for you and highly trained experts to read the results.

We have available 24 hours a day with a physician’s referral:

• CT scans, which show slices of body structures
• Ultrasounds, which shows inside view of soft tissues and body cavities with sound waves and
• X-rays.
  

Radiologists at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth read most of our images, but we go halfway around the world for our patients at night when our local radiologists aren’t available. We send images from our CT scanner to a radiology group in Australia, where it is daytime, and reports are returned to us within two hours.

We also offer mammograms for breast cancer screening, which are available without a doctor’s referral.
