Diabetes Care
We take a team approach to helping you with your diabetes care – and you can receive it close to home at the Superior Diabetes Center.

Our outpatient services for children and adults include physician specialist care as well as services by two certified diabetes educators and a nurse practitioner who come weekly to the clinic. Our patients have Type 1, Type 2 or gestational diabetes.

We offer diet and exercise education to help patients take care of themselves and minimize the effects of the disease as well as instruction in general diabetes management, including use of glucose meters and insulin.

We also have a class on the second Tuesday of the month for patients newly diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes who are not on insulin. It’s a two-week class from 2 to 4 p.m. and requires a physician referral.
