At St. Mary's Hospital of Superior, we know that serious illness and unexpected
health issues can bring about a search for meaning in people's lives. It's at these
times of crisis that people may search for connection to something that lies beyond
themselves.
Our Chaplain, Ana Beier, offers spiritual care to enhance your treatment. Supporting
patients, their families and the staff that cares for them is at the center of what
she does.
If you wish, our chaplain will notify your church that you are in the hospital.
She also offers prayer, sacraments and spiritual readings; helps address spiritual
issues related to the end of life and organ donation; and can help you create a
healthcare directive.
In addition, Beier facilitates a grief support group that meets the second Wednesday
of the month.
She understands that standing with patients in the midst of crisis is sacred work.
