St. Mary’s Hospital of Superior is ready to serve you if you need hospitalization
due to acute illness. We have 25 hospital beds on our second floor, a physician
dedicated only to hospital care and an experienced medical-surgical nursing staff
to care for you.
St. Mary’s Hospital of Superior has been designated a Critical
Access Hospital by the federal government, which means that we can care for both
acutely ill patients and patients who need less care but aren’t ready to go home.
Our hospital allows sick patients to be close to home and the same on-site physician
is available all week. The continuity of care shortens hospital stays while allowing
the physician to attend to the unique physical and emotional issues of hospitalized
patients.
St. Mary’s Hospital of Superior’s beds are also available for
hospice patients and
transitional care (swing beds).
