Making Arrangements for Paying Your Hospital Bill
Information about any medical coverage you may have, such as medical insurance, Medicare or other sources, was gathered during your pre-admission telephone call or at the time of admission. St. Mary’s will verify medical benefits and will provide insurance claims and follow-up services for you.

If you wish to process your own insurance claims, you will be required to pay your account in full, 30 days from the date of discharge. After medical insurance has paid or if you have no insurance, the balance becomes classified as “self pay.” In order to assist you in financing this balance, several options are available, from which you may choose the plan that is the best for you.

St. Mary’s Claim Representatives are available to assist you with any questions you may have about insurance billing and can be contacted at (888) 892-8848.

St. Mary’s Patient Account Representatives are available to assist you with any questions you may have about your “self pay” balance and are prepared to assist you with financial arrangement options. For assistance please call (218) 786-3333.
